The Shire Canal Collection offers the highest quality, most comprehensive engine package available. Smooth and quiet in operation with unmatched reliability, all Shire engines are built to ISO9001-2008.
There are nine engines with a power range from 20hp to 90hp, suitable for narrow boats, wide beam boats and Dutch barges.
Barrus has been responsible for a number of 'firsts', including twin alternators and twin thermostats fitted as standard.
The Shire range is continually being improved and modified to maintain its position as a leader in the market place. All Shire models are now fitted with a new, more efficient twin thermostat housing which facilitates hotter running water and an increased flow. The Shire 35, 38, 40, 45, 50, 70 and 90 models are fitted with twin alternators as standard.

We are dealers for the SunSport range of inflatable boats.
Ranging in length from 2.20 m - 3.49m, they come with either a slatted floor, all inflatable boat or an inflatable rib with a deep v bottom. the boats can carry up to 5 persons and can be powered by Mariner or Mercury outboards up to 15hp.
These affordable, go-anywhere boats are perfect to use as a tender or a versitile day boat, easy to assemble, transport and store. We sometimes have good quality pre-owned outboards for sale. These engines have been thoroughly checked and serviced in our workshop by our qualified engineer and come with a minimum of a 3 month warranty.
